Best $1,300 I have ever spent!!!

So after driving the truck around a little today after a wash and a wax to try and clean her up a little she makes some funny noises when the clutch is pushed in but hey 229K miles haha. Can't be too picky. Had to buy an air filter and some new wipers today. Got the Bosch Icon's. Well here are some pics of her cleaned up. What do you guys think? Not bad for $1,300 eh?

Hahahaha I knew some of ya would be caught by surprise! I'm so glad I bought this truck. I love driving it and there is no way I would find another one for $1,300 lol. Thanks for the compliments guys!

S-10 Killer, I do want to lift it eventually but I dunno. $2,700 installed for a lift not to mention wheels and tires is too much to spend on this thing haha. Do want some better lookin wheels and tires though. Those will come soon

    Mac, its a 3.0 5 speed

Just think about it this way... 1300 for the truck, 2700 for the lift, and lets say 1500 for really nice wheels and tires... that gives you a really nice lifted rig for under 6 grand - less than most guys can buy a stock ranger for.

    I say go for it!!

    Thanks again guys!

I think I may just crank the T-bars an inch or so and put some 31's on it. Still not sure about dumping money into this one but I wouldn't mind it looking a little beefier!

Jeremy, your dad isn't too far off from me then haha.

Don't plan on gettin rid of it anytime soon that is for sure

And Dixie Boysles, I have thought about it! Just not sure how hard it would be to swap the SOHC's engine and transmission from a 4wd into this one.

Tr00b, Don't do that man! Lol

And Brian what did you get??? Post pics!

Dang that is clean! You should have let me buy it. First thing would be to check the cam sensor! Then drive it till the motor goes and drop a V8 in it.

Good lookin truck, but noise when clutch is pushed in/disengaged usually means your pilot bearing is on it's way out.....I damn near rear ended a car waiting at a light when mine locked up, so it might be worth looking into, as mine only made noise for a day or two before piling up.
