i think im gonna do this to my truck..and then try to see if something like a scoop will cover it...im hoping only a 2 inch scoop will be needed..hopefully nothing more than a 3 inch, otherwise its gonna look like a WRX hood or something..

if you intercool yours, plan on it stick out about that much...when i do mine, im GUESSING (cause im at school and i havent seen the truck for like 5 months now) that only the top of the intake, TB/coupler and like 1-2 inches of the black intake pipe will be showing...but thats mine, not sure how tall your setup is gonna be, cause i dont know whos making it and what else you are going to do to it..ahha

the things i changed that "add" power (i guess) were
ported heads, m112

with supplements, low comp pistons (which i guess "decrease" power if nothing else is done), smaller pulleys

and i gained 89rwhp/69rwtq
and that was going light, no water meth, i think you are gonna be real happy with your danger ranger after this...this is good, ahah

let me know if you need a 2.7 pulley for the charger, ahah i gotta sell mine that im not using

I've seen that mustang before It stayed about one hotel down from me during mustang week in Myrtle Beach this past year. looks good but its definitely not a sleeper.

ya the pulley wont be showing..I think it's gonna be just the top of the plenum..let me know what pulley u have so i can do some searching and find out if i have to grind the snout. and I will be using everything from the lightning..from blower to intake filter.

i'll be relocating the battery in the bed.

yaa i bought that exact pulley (twice) 2.8 and 2.7...decided which i wanted, and then i can sell the other one..i have the 2.8 on my truck right now (both are silver)

http://www.lightning-mustang.com/ searching and found that...nice little whip..i think im gonna try to do what you said, with the lightning intake elbow and im gonna try to bend it like this guy did, soo that i can try to cover it with a scoop...cause my current setup, the scoop would have to be like 45 inches wide because the intake elbow goes straight off...it doesnt CUT downwards like this mustang guy has it..not sure how the throttle cable mount is held on though...??you know?

and there are a few questions about where to connect hoses onto the lightning elbow..i think there might only be one NIPPLE, might not be a problem..but i need to find that out

also the lightning tb cable bracket is atatched to the TB. u can prob buy it at ford. I found a used one for 20 bucks. It's gonna be a bolt on deal + the good thing about going this way is that u get to use all the lightning performance parts from blower up.

i would say, by looks, your hood is gonna be cut so that you can see the whole intake all the way to the filter...

not sure if the one you were looking at is a similar shape to that one there

Just finished installing my heat exchanger. looks like it was made for the ranger. It fit right in the grill. The heat exchanger is off a 03-04 Cobra
The cooler down low is for the tranny. it will either be painted black or will get a new black one.
Didn't have time to put the bumper back on.
