If you drive your truck a lot, then I vote intake, exhaust. You'll notice a change for the better with your kpg, and a bit of a power increase to boot. If it's just a show truck, then I say show and shine or turbo to impress people.

I think by the time you drop all that coin into fabbing a turbo system and getting it to run properly the gains would not be worth what you have put into it.

I say go 4.0 SOHC or 5.0 but since you plan on bagging it a 2.3 turbo might be the answer for power and clearance in the engine bay. That and if you are bagging and planning a rear mount setup with a 3.0 you would have issues.

Not hating on the 3.0 but I have done a lot with mine other than forced induction. Even with a 80 shot of nitrous and tuned with bolt-ons it wasn't much stronger than a stock 4.0 SOHC. The turbo 3.0 would be different though.

Just my opinion.

yeah I have no intention of making power... I seriously dont care if this truck goes slower once the turbo is on it... I know your all going to say that makes no sense. But I just like the idea of the turbo... I seriously only wanna run like... 8 lbs.... Nothing crazy, If I wanna go fast, if I wanna race and make crazy fast speeds, Ill start tuning my skyline up a bit....... I love the sound of a blow off, I love the sound of the turbo inhale... I want it on the truck, regardless of power gains and what not..

Cool. I got ya. Didn't know what your overall plans were on power. Good luck with it. It will be different.
