93 Ranger V8 Turbo

Hello

I've own my ranger since I was 14 and I always wanted a v8 for it. I finally did when I was 22. It was a 347 stroker n/a. It only lasted like 8 months when I realized that the block was cracked, on january I purchased a boss 302 block from jegs and forged internals from scat, later I bought the turbo and so on....

Tremec TKO-500 Transmission[/b]

The turbo is from precision and they say it's good for up to 1200HP

The intercooler is from treadstone performance (30x12x4.5) and can cool you off up to 1000HP

That's where I stand for now until next month when I take the truck to ohio so the shop I got the turbo header can fabricate the driver's side.

i took a trip to ohio so that brian from bg custom can finish the hot and cold side.

These pictures don't do justice to the awesome work that they did.
I'll probably start it up within two weeks, I have to reroute my fuel lines and finish some minor stuff.

It's a pt-88 and I believe that stands for 88 mm. In the rear I have traction bars with coil overs. look at this old video of mine and you can see my rear suspension. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RiBAk...eature=channel. As for the preturbo intake I'll make a real short 90 degree tube if not I'll put a mushroom type filter or just a mesh because the turbo intake is really close to the radiator support.

Does B & G have the specs to build another set of hot side parts or was it totally custom.

Very nice!

Unfortunately no. But he did offer to stay with the truck a couple of days to make a kit but I told him that it was not going to work on other rangers because I welded a 1/2 inch plate on the chassis where you put the mounts to raise the engine a little so that will throw him way off on the driver side, but the passenger side is almost a bolt on (passenger side is from a mustang except he had to cut the pipe that connects to the driver side). Also I'm using L&L engine mounts and not everybody is using them. But give Brian (the owner) a call, he'll work something out for you 740-686-2897. Trust me you won't be disappointed, tell him that I send you.

Good luck
Amel.

BTW anybody else that is interested can call him also but tell him I send
you.

It's been a little while since I haven't posted anything new but that's because I got out of a surgery that I was supposed to do years ago, ( I'm a wuss when it comes to hospitals especially surgery) but I'm recovering just fine. Anyways b4 the surgery I changed a few things since I want POWER.

I went from this......

To this. It's an 05 and up slot type MAF and it's from HPX which is capable of 1000HP I like it!!!!.....

And also I changed my injectors for 42 lbs to 80 lbs high impedance injectors of course!!

42 lbs injectors....

80 lbs injectors...

80 lbs vs 42 lbs.....

80 lbs vs 42 lbs nozzle...

Now the truck barely starts of course since it's been flooded LOL( I only attempted to start it just one time). Hopefully by the end of next week I'll take it to a dyno shop if not definitely within 2 weeks. I'm dying to see what it can do!!!
But my tuner told me that with these injectors and that MAF I could be making 900 horses( with a lot more boost than just 10 lbs)
